Thank you for this beautiful exploration of the Winter Solstice. Grateful for the light and for you, Judy. I love how you help turn our writing to our connection with each other and with our Earth. I celebrate you and your work in this time of celebration!!!
Thank you, Sandi. I love these earth celebrations. And yes, let's celebrate each other and all the writers who keep after it...story after story after story. Warm holiday hugs.
Oh how I loved having you with us, Janell. I am so excited for you for the next months as your beautiful book comes to all of us awaiting a good read. Here's to a joyous and prosperous 2026 with many delightful surprises.
Thank you again for another thoughtful piece of writing and sharing. I need to understand and go easy on myself when I hit a 'lull' in my life cycle and just let it be. Soon, it will pass almost by itself and without force and I will feel creative and more alive again. Happy winter. I hope you enjoy a healthy 2026 and celebrate yourself and all the good work you do and connections you help people to make.
Thank you, Arlene, for the good wishes and the connection of "lull" and "fallow." We do what we can when we can and in make notes. Warm wishes for a joyous and peaceful New Year. Here's to delightful surprises in 2026. xoxoxo
Well. After a couple years unable to write I finally started a WIP. Another year goes by. Now I am doing it but little by little. Then I had to change the way I was doing it. I am too stubborn to quit a thing.
Not a solstice follower, I do love your newsletter and your comments about fallow time. I remember that from your Days book. It is always great to hear from you, Judy.
Have a blessed joyous Christmas and a splendid 2026!
As a writer, I often get frustrated by the "fallow" writing seasons I slog through before a weeding/editing or "harvest" season. But it is the way of things for me. Lucky for me, I get to edit other people's writing!

Thank you, David. Same here... love your writings and look forward to those that await me. Warm holiday hugs.
You sure had a great crowd. I'm sorry I missed the Solstice event this year! It's always been a highlight for me. I'll put it on my calendar for next.
We missed you there, JIll. Such a beautiful night. Yes, next year. Happy Holiday Hugs as we celebrate the seasons and each other.
I love this reminder of the ebb and flow, the light and darkness. Always the return.
I try to remind myself to "rotate my crops" as there are seasons for everything including rest and activity.
Always the return. I'm looking forward to your return next Tuesday. Warm holiday hugs.
